Science Biography
I don't remember that much about my science classes when I was younger. I do remember making a solar system and creating a light bulb curcuit in fifth grade. I remember disecting a frog in biology, which totally creeped me out. In ninth grade I had physical science, which was the first time I remember doing anything hands on with lab partners instead of simply learning out of a book. I've never really enjoyed science growing up. It just never really appealed to me. As I've gotten older I have more of an appreciation for science. I still don't particularly love it, but I do find many things interesting about it. Going to a Christian college and taking Biology with a Christian professor has made me see science in a whole new perspective. We learned how to view scientific concepts from a Christian's eyes and see God's hand in it all. While in college I've also had the pleasure of helping one of Emmanuel's science professors, Dr. Frank Mann with the science shows that he does at local elementary schools. He goes to various schools and shows how various toys can demonstrate scientific concepts. He really showed me through that experience how to make learning science a fun experience for kids. The most recent experience I've had with science has been in Mr. Carl Davis' science methods class. We have been learning how to teach various science concepts while using mealworms. It has been interesting to see how science can be introduced by the students and not just simply told be the teacher. I am interested to see what else I will learn this semester. But for now this is my science biography.

Class Assignment for Media/ Technology
As one of my assignments for the lovely Mr. Davis I have to do a short review of a website as a blog post so here it is...
This website is centered completely on providing website links to educators to give them helpful resources like lesson plans, activities, videos, worksheets, etc. It would be helpful because instead of clogging up your bookmarks, you can just go to this website and view the list of websites there. I think this website would be a very good resource for any educator. Here is the link for anyone who would like to view all the available websites:
